We are pleased and proud to say the Veterans Aid project has now been opened by London Mayor Sadiq Kahn.
Everyone at Blackmoor Knight Ltd had a truly pleasing and uplifting experience over the last 2 ½ years while working on the project. It was a building /engineering challenge incorporating the extensive expansion and redevelopment works while keeping the facilities fully open and allowing continued assistance to the veterans that use the facility.
The working association Blackmoor Knight have formed with the complete professional team, the Charity centre staff and management and the charity throughout has been truly inspirational. Our workforce has worked closely with the lodging veterans and a good and friendly relationship was formed together.
We are pleased that our involvement hasn’t ended, and we are now responsible for the maintenance of the Old Rectory, Link Building and New Belvedere House, “The Whole Complex”.
Please take time to read the reports from Veterans Aid issued while the works were being carried out and the 2018 end of year report, they say it all really.
Blackmoor Knight Ltd are both delighted and proud to be have been appointed the Mechanical and Electrical Design & Build contractor for the first phase link building, and Phase 2 Main works part of the refurbishment and upgrade of the high profile Veterans Aid project.
Involvement in this prestigious project started 12 months ago (April 2015) when the professional services input by a proactive and resourceful services contractor was sought to compliment the client and design team in planning and progressing this complex and innovative project.
Located in Limehouse East London this project has been widely publicised in the Independent / Evening Standard Homeless Veterans Campaign.
