We have recently been appointed the principal contractor to complete the front garden landscape and new lighting works at MOTH (Museum of the Home). This project as most will know is close to all our hearts at BMK.
We have been working at the Museum of the Home (formally The Geffrey museum) for 24 years. What’s more is we completed the new front garden lighting works last time around 12 years ago, as technology has substantially moved on with LED’s, now has come the time to upgrade and replace the lighting.
With a grant from the government the museum can also replace the original hoggin paths with new resin bound pathways, this will improve the area for the general public and provide a better surface to make the space more accessible.
We started the works in the 2nd week of December 2022 in the height of a snow storm, and we are due to complete works at the end of February 2023.
Working within strict guidelines by the Urban specialists to ensure we don’t damage any of the stunning listed trees we have carefully hand dug the area for lighting cable ducts to manoeuvre around roots etc.
Take a look at some photos of our initial progress, we will be updating you soon with the completed project.
