Blackmoor Knight provides facilities management, electrical and mechanical engineering, and building refurbishment for commercial properties, historic buildings and cultural venues.
Our directly employed team brings together building trades, craftspeople and engineers, with specialist subcontractors brought in where needed. From individual projects to ongoing maintenance, we plan the work around how each building is used and the people who rely on it.
Based in Essex, we work across London and the Home Counties and take on projects further afield by arrangement. This has included work in Europe for a client with multiple sites.

Electrical engineering
Facilities management
Planned preventative maintenance, repairs and regulatory management for commercial premises. We look after fire safety systems, air conditioning and general building upkeep, from decorating to cleaning.
Electrical engineering
Electrical installations and upgrades for commercial buildings. Our work covers lighting and power, fire alarms, CCTV and security controls, as well as data and IT networks.
Mechanical engineering
Installation and maintenance of heating, cooling, ventilation and water systems. We work with pipework, air conditioning, VRV and VRF systems, heat pumps, ductwork and insulation.
Building refurbishment
General and specialist refurbishment for commercial and historic properties. We deliver design-and-build and fully specified contracts, from targeted improvements to larger programmes, with engineering support where needed.
